Dear Visitor!
This is a site about Duran Duran. I named it after they tour documentary film, Sing Blue Silver. I heard it aslo been published as a book too in 1984. And sorry for not putting “The Chauffeur” among the best Duran Duran lyrics, but that’s the page’s official lyrics. So you can read it on this page (main page), as an introducing lyrics. I hope you’ll find here something what you like. If you have anything to ask, please register my forum on http://duranlove.freeforums.org(you can find it in the link list). And if you have any Duran Duran fan fictions, you would like to see on this blog, please tell it to me by using my forum or sending it to the following e-mail address: simonlove007@yahoo.com.
Thanks for visiting my blog,
Anna Arcadiana
“The Chauffeur”
Out on the tar plains, the glides are moving
All looking for a new place to drive
You sit beside me, so newly charming
Sweating dew drops glisten, freshing your side
[CHORUS]
The sun slips down bedding heavy behind
The front of your dress all shadowy lined
And the droning engine throbs in time
With your beating heart
Sing Blue Silver
Way down the lane away, living for another day
The aphids swarm up in the drifting haze
Swim seagull in the sky
Towards that hollow western isle
My envied lady holds you fast in her gaze
[CHORUS]
And watching lovers part, I feel you smiling
What glass splinters lie so deep in your mind
To tear out from your eyes
With a word to stiffen brooding lies
But I’ll only watch you leave me further behind
[CHORUS]
And watching lovers part, I feel you smiling
What glass splinters lie so deep in your mind
To tear out from your eyes
With a word to stiffen brooding lies
But I’ll only watch you leave me further behind
(CHORUS)
